Mark Walker

Mark has been in real estate for over 49 years. He helps sellers and buyers through the real estate process and knows all the ins and outs of the profession. He LOVES coming to work everyday and his door is always open. He is passionate about the Borough of Mechanicsburg and has sat on the Main Street Commission Board, which encourages downtown businesses.

Mark’s six children are his life but his 16 grandchildren he is overly passionate about, trying to spend every extra minute at one of their track meets, soccer, baseball, football or basketball games.

He has been known to go for a hike to clear his mind. Mark also enjoy skiing, basketball, cook-outs, the beach and hanging with family and friends.

Lorie Walker

Lorie and Mark opened their business in 1977, launching what would become a trusted, family-run real estate company. Starting as a dedicated husband-and-wife team, Mark worked directly with clients while Lorie managed operations behind the scenes—handling phone calls, paperwork, and financials. After stepping away for a few years to raise their growing family of eight, Lorie returned part-time and has remained a key part of the business ever since.

Lorie has always shared a deep passion for real estate alongside Mark. Whether it’s renovating their own properties or helping clients envision the potential in a fixer-upper, she brings a unique ability to look beyond a property’s flaws and see what it can become. She finds true joy in transforming homes and supporting others in doing the same.

Outside of work, Lorie treasures time with her family; especially her beloved grandchildren, affectionately known as her “grands.” She’s been an active member of the West Shore Tennis Association for many years and still plays twice a week with lifelong friends. Supporting her children and grandchildren in their sports, music, and theater pursuits has always been a source of pride and joy.

Lorie firmly believes that the strength of their family-run business lies in its personal touch. Whether you’re buying, selling, or looking for a rental, she takes pride in offering responsive, knowledgeable service—with the added benefit of always being able to speak directly with an owner.

Daniel D. Tedesco SR.

My wife and I have been married 55 years, the father of 3 great children and 8 grandchildren. I grew up as a farmer in New Jersey and as a farmer we always had a slow time during the winter months. My best friend, also a farmer ,and I decided to take the New Jersey  Real Estate course.  I will never forget our instructor’s name, Mr. Mars .He stated out of the 50+ people in the class less than 10% will obtain their state license. He was correct and both my friend and I passed the N. J. state exam and became successful part time agents. Approximately in 1972,  I started working part time for the Van Hise Realty which eventually merged with Century 21 in New Jersey. After my grandfather past away the farm was sold so I started working for IBM full time and still worked real estate part time in the evenings and weekends.  In 1985 my family and I were transferred by IBM to Mechanicburg ,PA. I waited a couple of years in order to gain knowledge of the area before reactivating my real estate license.

In the late 80’s I worked for some agencies however I was not happy with their processes of business. Our children were going to Catholic Schools and I discovered that the Walker family were in some of my children’s classes. After having a meeting with Mark Walker in May of 1998 my decision was made and I began working as an agent with M.C. Walker Realty, a solid agency. It has been an excellent experience to work for M.C. Walker Realty! They care for both sides, buyer and seller, and also their agents. Mark and Laurie have always treated the agents as part of the Walker Family, After 26 years I have no regrets working for M.C. Walker Realty and look forward to the future.

Suz Deremer

My journey with Walker Realty began long before I officially joined the team—I’ve known the Walker family since I was 13, when I started babysitting for them. At the time, they had just two children, and over the years, our bond grew into something that felt more like family than just friendship.

Nearly a decade ago, I began working in the Walker Realty office as an assistant, and I’m proud to say I’m still here, supporting a team I truly care about. Real estate runs in my family as well… My mom was the office manager, while both my dad and sister were agents with Walker Realty.

Being part of this company is more than just a job… It’s a personal connection, a shared history, and a team I’m proud to be part of every day.
